













Founder ReShawnda Richardson, known to her athletes as Coach Ree is a Licensed Therapist, author, mentor, and mental performance consultant with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Licensed in multiple states, she has worked across diverse clinical and performance settings, supporting individuals as well as amateur and professional athletes.
A former three-year letter-winning basketball player at California State University, Northridge, ReShawnda also competed for the U.S. Virgin Islands Women’s National Team and had a brief professional tenure with the Portland Fire (WNBA). She combines her lived experience as an athlete and coach with her clinical expertise to help athletes and individuals strengthen their mental health, identity, and resilience.
A breast cancer survivor and author of The Transformative Process: Dying to Self Daily, ReShawnda takes a collaborative, transformative approach—helping individuals heal deeply and grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Former Division I & Professional Basketball Player | Coach & Mentor
Born and raised in California, Kristen McCarthy is a multiple CIF and state champion whose basketball journey is rooted in excellence, leadership, and purpose. A former Division I and professional basketball player, she was recruited by legendary coach Dawn Staley and earned a Division I scholarship to Temple University. During her collegiate career, Kristen made history by setting the program record for points scored in a single game and later graduated with a degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media.
Kristen went on to play professionally overseas for seven years, gaining invaluable experience through the global game of basketball. During that time, she also coached youth athletes of all levels internationally, using her love of the game and firsthand experience to positively impact young players and help them grow both on and off the court.
Throughout her playing career, Kristen developed a strong passion for health, nutrition, and holistic wellness, leading her to earn her Health Coach certification. This foundation allows her to train athletes with a comprehensive approach that supports physical performance, mental resilience, and overall well-being.
Today, Kristen serves as a mentor, coach, and trainer who is deeply committed to youth development beyond the game. She uses basketball as a powerful tool to help young athletes grow mentally, physically, and spiritually, with the goal of developing confident, disciplined individuals prepared to succeed on and off the court.
